Contaminated Soil
Purification System
This soil purification system cleans and classifies excavated soil on site into large gravel/sand and fine silt/clay.
Since the system is operated on site:
1. Secondary pollution can be minimized.
2. Waste production can be minimized.
This is an environmentally-friendly treatment system.
This system can also be used to treat contaminated bottom mud produced during dredging operations.

- 01.Application range
- Various contaminants, including heavy metals and mineraloils, can be treated.

- 02.Onsite treatment
- Because the treatment can be conducted onsite, transportation costs can be reduced and secondary pollution, such as CO2 emissions from transport vehicles, can be prevented.

- Since cleaning water is recycled, the use of water can be minimized.

- 04.Reduction of waste byproducts
- Contaminated soil is classified and treated,and the treated soil is backfilled.
So, waste byproducts can be greatly reduced.

- Clay containing contaminants is dehydrated and reduced in volume,so that final disposal volume is further reduced.

- 01.Belt feeder
- Supplies regular amounts of soil stably.

- Washes clay away from the surface of sand and gravel, and makes clay lumps dissolve in water.

- 03.Coagulation-sedimentation equipment
- Primary treatment
Classifies, treats and collects sand and gravel of 1-100 mm.
Secondary treatment
Lower: Classifies, treats and collects sand and gravel of 0.5-1 mm.
Upper: Classifies and collects fine sand of 0.075-0.5 mm.

- Wet cyclone Classifies fine sand, silt and clay using centrifugal force.

- Coagulation-sedimentation equipment
Separates treated wastewater into supernatant water and sludge, and concentrates silt and clay.

- Compression filter press Dehydrates sludge and makes the silt and clay cakey.
